Nottingham Forest DSA are a group of volunteers, fans with diverse disabilities and carers. Set up in April 2022 and launched in March 2023, NFDSA aims
“To work independently and in partnership with Nottingham Forest Football Club, to promote awareness and seek equality for all Nottingham Forest Supporters with a visible or hidden disability“.
We do this in a variety of ways; assisting individuals with specific issues, providing information, raising awareness and understanding amongst Forest Staff and fans, working together to find practical solutions and organising social and other activities. We also represent Forest disabled fans on the NFFC Fans Advisory Board ( FAB), the Premier League Disability Working Group; we work with other DSAs and are a Member of Level Playing Fields.

Why NFDSA Membership?
Over the last three years, we have supported disabled fans and carers in line with our Constitution Aims and we will continue to do so, and be accessible to those who approach us and reach out to the wider fan base. Progressing form our Contacts List, we launched our more structured Membership in September 2025 .
We believe that this will enhance and strengthen our engagement and accountability – ultimately contributing to our success and impact.
These are some of the reasons for having an active membership scheme:
Provides a clear definition of group membership, commitment and support for NFDSA
Enhances governance and transparency
Enhances meaningful engagement and improves how we connect with disabled fans and carers
Helps to establish a sense of identity and shared purpose, and fosters a stronger sense of community
Enhances access to funding and resources
Provides greater legitimacy and a stronger voice when representing disabled fans and carers, for example, to The Club
